Tim was married to Alison in 1987.  They have three children aged 9 to 17.  His other interest is sailing and weight loss.

Education
Tim completed high school in 1983 and went on to earn an Arts degree at the University of Sydney in psychology and government. 

His theological education was at Moore Theological College where he graduated with a B.Th with honours, a Diploma of Arts (hons) and a Diploma in Ministry.

More recently Tim completed a Master of Management (Community), a degree that focused on management in the non-profit environment. His exit thesis was on the efficacy of church planting as an evangelistic strategy.

In 2005 Tim completed a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA.  He studies under Dr Eddie Gibbs, Professor of Church Growth and completed a thesis entitled: A Vision for the Mission and Message of the Australian Church After Christendom.

Experience
Tim's first appointment was in December 1986 at St George's Earlwood where he was Youth Minister for three years before going to Moore Theological College.  He considers his main achievement at Earlwood was surviving teaching Scripture at Canterbury Boys High.

After College Tim became Assistant Minister at Gymea Anglican Church in Sydney's south where he served for 5 years.

In 1999 Tim became Director of the Church Resource Unit with Anglican Youthworks.  As well as leading a large team of consultants he founded the Youthworks Training College located in Loftus.  In 2002 he wanted to return to the front line and was pleased to take up his current appointment.
