All Souls is a community of people trying to love one another, love our neighbourhood, and love our planet, for God’s sake.
We’re on about Jesus’ kingdom and living differently as members of it. This drives everything we do!
Just some of what that looks like:
Words of Love - because the Grace of God has broken into our world and changed everything.
Life Groups - building relationships and helping one another grow.
We’re a Fair Trade church - good for the people, good for the planet.
Seeking Justice - because central to God’s purposes is equity for the vulnerable and needy.
Carbon Neutral - it’s about stewardship: environmental care.
Saying Thanks - to the emergency services and others who sacrificially serve our neighbourhood and ensure our safety.
Positive Presence - because we want to seek the best for our neighbour and our neighbourhood.
And we want to acknowledge that the land of this parish traditionally belonged to the Gadigal and Wangal people, of the Eora nation - it's simply true.
You could say it's about words of love, deeds of love and a life of love.
And a big part of that is 'lovinleichhardt'.
