Welcome
All Souls is a diverse Christian community at Leichhardt, in Sydney's
vibrant inner-west.
Our church includes old and young, working class and YUPPies, PhDs and mentally ill. What unites us is not what we have
in common, but Jesus Christ.
More
All Souls acknowledges that the land of
this parish traditionally belonged to the Gadigal and Wangal people, of
the Eora nation.

A Successful
Festa
All Souls had a strong presence at this year's Festa. Hundreds of people
enjoyed free hospitality in our cafe, expertly made espresso coffee,
face painting and balloons. Around 100 people also visited our church,
enjoying some peace, quiet reflection and it's fascinating history. Our
minister ran a 'Organic Gardening' stall which we hope inspires people
to grow their own herbs and veggies in the interests of health and
sustainability.
Cathedral Singers at All Souls - 2 Nov, 6.30pm

The renowned Cathedral Singers accompanied
us in a Choral Eucharist on 2 November at 6.30pm. The service included a wide range of music, including a 'Mass' setting by Jackson and
Justorum Animae by Stanford.
All Souls Voted Number 1 Church in the Inner West!!!
The Inner-West's alternative media newspaper, "The Hub" recently
featured a "Best of" edition. It included everything from the best pizza
to the best hairdresser. And, it included the "best Church". Which was
us!!!
Of course, the editor hasn't attended a service, but she liked our
signs, approach to the community, fair trade ministry and apology to the
stolen generation.
I'm sure that there are many churches that are bigger and better, but
the recognition was nice! Farewell to Byron and Jess
It was with mixed feelings that
we said good bye to Byron (our Ministry Assistant) and his wife Jess on
July 26.
Byron is beginning a PhD at Edinburgh
University under Oliver O'Donovan. We thank God for Byron's ministry,
his recover from cancer, and this wonderful opportunity to study. Byron
and Jess have made a big impact on us all and we will certainly miss
them. Apology
