Italian Festa on Norton
Look out for All Souls' presence at the Festa on March 25. There will be "Iron Chef" competitions and cooking demonstrations in our church
cafe.
Weekend Away
This annual highlight is on again, April 27-29. A wonderful weekend of
great bible teaching, incredible fellowship, great food, activities,
more food, all overlooking Port Hacking on the edge of the Royal

The Big BBQ - 29 October
With the kids entertained on
the jumping castle and with Harry's Pet Zoo the rest of us enjoyed a
long lunch, good company, wine and a relaxed time.

All Souls Festival 2006
Our first All Souls Festival was an
awesome week of celebration, serious discussion and great fun over the
week May 7-14 2006. Assisted by a contingent of trainee ministers we
hosted a wine tasting evening, Death by
chocolate night, Buddhism & Christianity conversation, Challenging Da Vinci
evening, Cha Cha
Church first birthday celebration and more.

Premier at the Festa
NSW
Premier Morris Iemma was one of over 800 people who stopped for a coffee
and a canolli at our cafe during the Norton St Festa on Sunday 2 Apr.
While we had hoped to do some more creative evangelism we were happy to
have a presence among the 130,000 people who poured down Norton St.
Part of the proceeds, around $1,200, will be used to purchase a loom to
help women in India generate income and work their way out of poverty.
Fair Trade Fair - Make Poverty History
On Sunday Feb 5 we launched an
important new ministry to help Make Poverty History. All Souls now
run a small market selling fair
trade products in our cafe on Saturday mornings (10am to 1pm starting in March).
Fresh coffee and cake are available so you can enjoy our peaceful
surrounds and friendly people.
New Years Day Breakfast
We began the year together over
breakfast at 10am. This was followed by a short service beginning around
11am.
Christmas services
Our
newest service, the Kids' Christmas Service was preceded by a free
sausage sizzle. Nearly 100 people enjoyed this kid-friendly start
to celebrating the birth of the saviour.
Cafe Opening
On
August 7, after 18 months of construction, Bishop Rob Forsyth opened our
contemporary ministry facility - or 'Cafe'. This building fronts on to
Norton St, home of over 60 cafes and restaurants. The design is
striking and contemporary, with a commercial kitchen, seating for 60, a
large outdoor area and playground. It is used after our services and for
many of the events described on this site.
All Souls Weekend Away 2005
Held
from 22-24 July at Telford on Port Hacking this was a wonderful weekend
of fellowship and learning. Our guest speaker with Rev Dr Gordon
Preece who spoke on the topic of work. For many the highlight, as
always, was our time cooking and eating our Saturday night feast.
